Welcome!

and I did my PhD in Cognitive, Social and Affective Neuroscience.
My research interests revolve around the neurocognitive bases of cooperative joint-actions, the impact of social variables on these mechanisms, and their development along the whole life-span, from early childhood to aging.
I investigate these topics in behavioral studies and by using non-invasive brain stimulation techniques, functional MRI and kinematic data analysis.

I am also interested in action perception and motor control. I investigate the impact of motor experience and expertise on the predictive processes supporting action perception by exploring how motor excellence (e.g. in musicians or athletes) or limb misuse (e.g. caused by immobilization) can modulate motor representations.
